I know its been a while since I’ve blogged. I have been busy keeping everyone’s hair healthy and beautiful.
Today I’m focused on naturals. One of the main issues that I see with natural hair is dryness. Most naturals use 2-3 products on their hair daily. This can cause a build up on the hair that makes its very difficult to moisturize natural hair. FYI, just because you don’t have a relaxer that does NOT mean that your hair is healthy. So, how do we keep your natural hair healthy?
- Keep your hair and scalp clean. A clean healthy scalp is imperative for hair growth.
- Moisturize! Steam treatments are the best. The Steamer slightly opens the cuticle of the hair allowing for deeper absorption of the conditioners, as well as opening and lubricating those hair follicles.
- Keep those ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks.
So ladies don’t neglect your natural hair. Book your appointments for blow out with ends trimmed and add a steam treatment. You won’t be disappointed.
